Individual Coaching

Coaching is for anyone who is curious to dive deep into a process of personal transformation.

It's an opportunity to direct focused attention toward specific challenges and desires in your life. These might include self-awareness, confidence, development of personal and work relationships, leadership, stress management and self-regulation, or loss and resilience. Regardless of the reason, you've come to a point where the status quo is no longer acceptable to you. You're ready to make a change.

Our coaching process is highly individualized to you. Every person has a unique perspective and experience of the world, so we start where you are. The questions and the activities that occur in a session are determined as it happens. Drawing on story-telling, imagination, expression, embodiment, and creativity, it's an active, responsive approach to what you are discovering and revealing in the process.

The Coaching Process

While the coaching process will look a little different for each person, there is a basic structure within which we co-create the coaching conversation. Like any creative process, this is not linear or predictable. Regardless, the structure generally includes:

  • The success of any transformation starts with getting clear about “what is” - the existing conditions that have led you to this place. We also get clear about what you hope to create through the coaching process.

  • Once we’re clear about our starting point and where we’re headed, we explore the landscape to better understand how to navigate getting from here to there. In this phase we are cultivating awareness about what’s getting in the way, looking through the lens of the body (somatics), emotions, and language.

  • With new awareness we can begin to develop a holistic approach to creating the results you want. Change happens over time, and this phase embraces the process building the solid foundation for lasting change.

  • As the foundation is built and gains strength, it can be more fully integrated into your life and work. In this phase we design, practice, and implement strategies and tools to sustain what you’ve created.
